By creating an account you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

Your account

You must be 13 or older. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. One person, one account.

What you post

What you write stays yours. By posting it in dnf you give us permission to store it and show it to other readers — that is what posting means here, and nothing more. We do not claim ownership of your reviews, and we do not sell them.

There is no tolerance for abuse

Objectionable content and abusive behaviour are not allowed on dnf, and accounts that produce them are removed. Specifically, do not post:

• Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of another person.
• Hate speech, or content that attacks or demeans people for who they are.
• Sexual content involving minors, in any form. This is reported to the authorities.
• Sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or content designed to shock.
• Spam, scams, or impersonation of another person.
• Anything unlawful, or that infringes someone else's copyright.

Reporting, and what happens next

Every post, review and list in dnf carries a Report control, and every reader carries a Block. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. An account reported by several readers is hidden automatically while it is reviewed — before anyone has looked at it.

Blocking is silent and immediate: the two of you stop seeing each other entirely, and the person blocked is never told.

We may remove any content and suspend or delete any account that breaks these rules, without notice.

Pro

dnf is free. Pro is an optional subscription that adds detail to statistics you can already see. It is billed through the App Store; manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time, from Settings → Account → Delete account. It is immediate and permanent.

No warranty

dnf is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
